this canvas is actually an 'oldie' for me already. created it a long time ago, but couldn't show it because it was in EntreArtistes Magazine with a lovely article from me to go with it.
i've made this canvas especially for Sanne. because one of the hardest things for me is letting GO. let her explore the world. find out how things works. i need to back off more. and that's such a hard thing to do, i'm sure any mother can relate. but, i have to say, i'm getting better at this every day. since about a year she is allowed to ride her bike alone to school. that was such a big deal for me. i could only see racing cars, big trucks and drama on the road. but, as it turns out, she does a fabulous job to prove me wrong. thank you sweetheart for letting me grow slowly into this.
on the agenda: today the muppets will go with grandma and grandpa to Avifauna! (some kind of zoo with lots and lots of birds & playgrounds). that means PARTYTIME for me! planning on working simultaneously on canvasses, a brand new E-course (!), i've to finish a too cute for words crochet bunny for said little sweet girl of mine, we go pick out NEW floors for our bedrooms (yes, changings things up here), we can eat dinner quietly & relaxed together (hurray) and i'm sure i'll through in a relaxing glass of wine somewhere.
