tell me, what are the books i MUST read, which one are your favorite?!
life is good. reading is my escape if it get's hard. rev
we had this awesome idea. me. my pink hair. lot's of gorgeous flowers. and ANTS. yes, frigging millions and gazzilions ants. and now you figure out where i decided to lay down. exactly.
and because this picture is not the normal-photoshoot-picture i love it so much. because the memory. the laugh we had. because i just lay there. next to shore and a huge ship dropped anchor. okay i'm done :)
saw this quote in black and white in a Flow Magazine, and just new i had to write it down for me. that's called practise. when you create for practise you can use ideas to get used to writing, coloring, painting, handlettering. practise, practise and practise some more. that's how you gain confidence. that's how you think of ideas of your own.
me and cooking. it's like a fish and climbing trees. it's like nemo without dory. it's like grandma on meth. it's just a disaster. MOST of the times. so i usually prepare. cut vegetables and stuff. Arjan is in control of the fire. even the kids ask when they get home "who made dinner?!" and are seriously disappointed when I say a bit enthousiastic "I DID!". i guess they know they are doomed.
but there's something I can proudly say of: I CAN MAKE THAT. and it even tastes good too :). and that is soup! i LOVE handmade, fresh soup.
and these days i'm hooked on "pumpkin soup" and even a little spicy. i don't do spicy normally. so crazy rascal me. with a little bit of creme fraiche and coriander. i love that so freaking much.
what's your favorite dish? care to share the recipe? remember, i'm a disaster in the kitchen, so keep it child-proof :D
