what's with the new navigation bar?

okay cutie patooties, in case you didn't notice: i've changed the look of my blog. all. by. myself. ofcourse took an ecourse one or two. or three. but who cares, i changed it all by myself, created this navigation bar with my own frigging handwriting, myself.

and you know what the best part is? you can find everything so. much. easier. really. look at the navigation bar and just click on DIY. yes. Do. It. Yourself. and you'll get to a cute page like this:

see those cute circles? yes made those too. and if you click on them (no silly, not on the image above, if you visit the REAL page through my navigation bar on top of this blog :), you go to the post which belongs to that specific DIY.

o. my. goodness. the work! and i'm not even close to finishing this, but i try to keep adding new stuff every. single. week. and i'm loving it so far!

on the agenda today: REVolution day! and i'm so happy my REVolution days are becoming more and more filled with the fun stuff. like 3 (!) stores wanting to sell my notebooks in THEIR store. yup. even international. this is happening you birdies! so guess what i'm doing today like a maniac? well. i'm always a bit manical i guess, but notebooks are on my top priority list. and my 52 promises book is ogling at me (yes, i looked it up in Google translator which is such NOT reliable haha, so maybe i'm saying something strange again. who cares right?).

NEW shop!

i already have an Etsyshop which is seriously so much fun, but it was also time to step it up a notch, and especially for my lovely Dutch birdies, i needed a Dutch shop. so you gorgeous international ladies, don't be disappointed, you can buy my goodies in my Etsyshop, but for the Dutch birdies:

i'm so excited! it took me a long time to make it completely 'feel' me. i wanted to have the same 'look' as my blog and i wanted it to be relaxing and pleasing to the eyes. i want all my own products (wow, my own productline is extending!), and some extra cute stuff in there (i'll keep adding and adding like an addict :). i think i nailed it.

and, by the frikking way, DID YOU NOTICE MY NEW BLOG DESIGN?? i will explain about my new blog in the next post. promise. did you check out that navigation bar? i say BOOYAH i did it. whaha.

find a beautiful place and get lost...

how i love to create these little notebooks and write my lovely messages in them. just a new little one adding to my growing family of love. you can find this cutie here. don't you love this one? i know i'll have a caravan like this one day. i just know it. i need to get lost from time to time <3.

i had such a lovely weekend. fridaynight girlsnight out, well, not really out, we stayed at Anita's place and she took care of us like nobody's business. gifts, sweets, talks, laughs, tears. the whole shebang. and this friendship, with the gorgeous 4 of us, means so freaking much to me. it's like being totally accepted and loved for exactly the way you are. and that really is something to cherish.

on the agenda today: split in half kinda day. like work at the office, trying to do some work at home, but most likely i will enjoy my time with the little & big muppet. we are in need of some quality creative time, so i'll guess i'll drag my stuff downstairs to suprise them when they come home from school. table will be completely covered with paint, crayons, fabric, felt, let's say creative mess, and they will dig in. i hope. ha.

4 weeks e-course how to create mixed media canvasses, my style.

{just cleaned up a bit to start the next video. teehee}

i'm working hard, very very hard, for my 4-weeks e-course creating mixed media canvasses my style! i've heard so much, when announcing a 'real life workshop' from people they wish i lived closer, or they lived closer, or i would travel etc. and this is one of my goals for this year. setting up a number of e-courses so EVERYBODY can create. cause, you know, everybody allready can. some of us just needs a little push (or a huge shovel :) into the right direction. and that's where i come in :)

so. in case you are wondering, i'm shooting a gazillion video's in the next couple of weeks. next to my BRANDNEW Dutch webshop i'm working on, new canvasses, new ideas. oh this head is spinning like every minute of every day. i just need to make it work my way.

on the agenda today: office day & play afternoon. that's a GO for me.

oh, be still my heart, rocking new notebooks!!

love this one? i adore my little owl, and i'm not the only one. ever since i created my lovely first notebook, i got lots of emails asking, begging almost..., for a little notebook with my owl canvas on it. and. i. listen.

my little notebook has little secret messages from me AND a complete free set of my mixed media REVitup cards. serious. crazy.

and i've got some more designs up my sleeve. working these cute little hands off like a madmen. oh do i like 2013 so far. muchos.

sunday market. november 4th.

hello my lovelies. Sunday November 4th i will be at my first market ever. ever. and that is kind off a big deal to me. like CHECK one more thing of my list i want to do. it may seem small to you, but it feels like another step forward reaching my goal. being a creative entrepeneur. i truly believe i already am, but there are so many more things i want to be part off. and being on this Sunday Market is one of them. this really is a special market: fashion | design | art | food | kids stuff, its' all there. but there's also entertainment. good spirit. happy people. free entrance! 

so this is the perfect opportunity for me to meet YOU. i really would love to meet you beautiful. you can see my postcards, xmas cards, art prints & original canvasses in real life. that's pretty cool right?  i will be creating mixed media canvasses LIFE at my stall. there will be action & inspiration all in once.

it feels like having another baby.

it really does! well. without the blood. and the pain. and the drama. and my swearing like a sailor. and the moment of extreme happiness. and the newborn smell. okay. okay, it doesn't even come close to having a baby, but they just feel like they are my little babies <3.

when i started out with my mixed media canvasses, i knew i wanted to make postcards. i just ffelt it in my heart that was for me. and when i had my first 8 designs of postcards printed, i knew again, i soooo needed to make christmas cards. not the everyday christmas cards you pick up from the supermarket. i wanted the to be whimsical. magical. full of love. sweet messages on the front, blanc on the back so there's room enough to write down your own special message to your loved one(s).

and the universe listened. isn't it lovely how things work? i just set my mind on things, and wanting them to become true with all my heart. not to mention i really work hard for it too. but it just all magically "clicks". finding the inspiration to create 3 lovely designs. finding a great printing companty who can meet my quality standards & having them delivered early so i can send them out PERFECTLY in time to all my lovely customers.

this week only: 12 cards (3 designs, 4 of each design) with 12 gorgeous white perfect fitting envelopes for only 10 euro's (13 dollars).

but wait, there's more! If you buy 3 or more sets, i'll throw in 1 free set of my REVITup postcards!

on the agenda today: office day in the morning, play day in the afternoon. i'll post about my real life workshop last Saturday this week. i'm packing christmas & postcards, printing prints, and hopefully list some orginal paintings. maybe i even play a little game on the Kinect with the muppets. it's a good day.

my postcards in an online store. check.

from the moment i decided to go for it, to actually really really do what i had in mind for about 2 years, things are working for me, not against me. it's like sending out a signal to the universe "hello. i'm going to do this. just watch me" things changed.

like the moment the lovely Anita from the fabulous site Postpapier Enzo let me know she wanted to sell my postcards. hello. this is really happening. i'm really doing this. 

and now i've got the hang of it, i'll keep going. moving forward. i've so many other ideas i want to explore.

on the agenda: dreaming up a new line of canvasses hopefully i can start on tonight. magic. the morning will be all office, but hey, i decided that's okay too. that's where the money comes from. that's how it has to be. and not fighting that feeling of uggghhhh is so much better on the energy level. the afternoon is 100% muppets. can you hear "spongebob yahtzee?". i recommend it, it's the most fun game i played with those 2 crazies in a long time. i'll throw in some loud music to keep my balance and i play nice. maybe. if they let me win.
